Dr. Denise Kniefel joined the practice in August of 1999. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Science degrees, from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota, Duluth where she minored in Chemistry and Psychology. At Pennsylvania College of Optometry, she was awarded clinical honors while completing rotations at three hospitals in New Jersey, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
Dr. Kniefel is an expert in the treatment of dry eye disease, specializing in advanced technologies to provide effective treatment plans for those suffering from dry eyes.
Dr. Kniefel enjoys living and working in Rosemount. She is past president of the Rosemount Rotary Club. She has two children, both at Rosemount High School. Their involvement with soccer, Nordic ski, cross country, and baseball keep she and her husband busy year round.
